WELCOME, PROSPECTIVE ADULT STUDENTS!
I am glad you are here...now let me ask: what brought you to this page? You could be looking for any number of things: are you an adult who has never studied piano before but now you want to start lessons? Good for you! It is never too late to learn! Are you one of the many adults who took lessons as a child and stopped (and now you regret quitting)? Welcome back to the "fold"! Or are you a serious intermediate or advanced student, a professional pianist, or teacher who wants to continue studying and developing or simply take a lesson or two in preparation for an audition, competition, or performance? Adult students learn differently from young students and all adults have complex schedules: families, work, kids, financial obligations...in short, as they say on social media, "adulting." As such, I offer adults a wide range of lesson options:
- You can enroll for weekly lessons with a guaranteed day and time reserved exclusively for you during the academic year and have guaranteed lesson times during the following summer.
- You can pay for two or three lessons at a time and schedule those lessons at a time that is convenient for your schedule. These could be arranged weekly, or every 10 days, or every two weeks...whatever suits your schedule. This is the most popular option for adults who want regular lessons but have to travel for work or have busy work or personal schedules and find scheduking flexibility appealing.
- Schedule regular weekly lessons one month at a time paying for and reserving those lesson times at the start of each month.
- If you're already an accomplished pianist and want occasional coaching or are preparing for an audition or performance, you can schedule "lessons as you go" -- one at a time, per your needs for preparing for your event.
